Baby contant fidgeting

Baby is currently 10 weeks old and at night is constantly fidgeting in his sleep. I'm exclusively breastfeeding so up with him quite a lot as it is but then when putting him down the constant tossing and turning is keeping me awake further. I'm tearing my hair out now! I wish I could upload a video to show what it is like. It is continuous restlessness which might stop for 30 seconds and then starts again.

Have you thought about putting him in his own room?

I wouldn't put him into his own room personally, but have you worked out what it is about his fidgeting that is keeping you awake? I.e. the noise, him repeatedly touching you (if you co-sleep), etc. It could also be that he is very slightly uncomfortable due to wind, silent reflux, or something else, so that's worth checking out.

Once you pin down the problem, it might be easier to solve--such as playing white noise to muffle the noise, a bed-side bed/crib/cot if you co-sleep, and so on.

One of mine was like this. It was the noises in my case, but I found that positive (gratitude) thoughts about him and time/patience, stopped me noticing the noises after a while. I'd have used white noise though, if it was as widely available as it is now.

Not at 10 weeks old due to the risk of SIDS

Was just a suggestion, we didn't personally but I know people that did because their babies were noisy sleepers
