6 month regression?

We were very lucky and the 4 month regression never really happened for us.
My LO will be 6 months next week and it seems like the 6 month regression has hit us already, she has gone from sleeping 10 hours a night uninterrupted to being up almost every hour since last week and I am shattered!

Anyone been through the same? How long did it last and any tips? Thank you in advance from a very tired mum 😩

I feel you, it’s so frustrating when sleep takes a turn for the worst! Honestly though I wouldn’t get too caught up with “regressions”. Sometimes they sleep well, sometimes they don’t. Between teething, sickness, learning something new like crawling and just general being a baby they’ve got a lot going on!

Look at their day naps, are they sleeping too much in the day? Are you tiring them out with playtime? I find when my baby has been in the pram/high chair a lot they don’t sleep as well. They’ll be eating more and more solids now as well, how is their tummy coping?

Try making little changes and see what works. Hope this doesn’t last too long!

I can’t be of much help with advice as my boy is nearly 2 now - just solidarity as we went through every single regression and came out the other side (currently sleeps 7-6:30ish)

I am expecting more to come!

I don’t recall changing anything to help a ‘regression’ go quicker. Hope it’s not a long period for you

There isn’t actually any scientific evidence for the regressions, and the NHS doesn’t acknowledge them. It’s much more likely that the sleep difficulties can be explained by something else such as teething, constipation and so on. I couldn’t believe it when I was told this!!
