Time to sleep train?

Our 12mo used to sleep through with 1 night feed 7-7. For the last few months every single night she will wake for at least 2-3 hours. Once awake (usually waking between midnight-2am then awake until 2-4am) she will cry, we feed her and she will down 6-9 ounces which makes me convinced she's not ready to drop the night bottle yet. However then she will either be wide awake wanting to play, or fall asleep during the bottle but when put down she is wide awake, or wakes up 5 mins after being put down. This then leads to 2 hours+ of a mix of her standing in her cot, crying and fussing.
She doesn't appear to be able to put herself back to sleep, but at the same time we have never been able to put her down for even a nap when she's awake, we've always either fed to sleep or rocked to sleep. Anytime we have tried she instantly stands up and cries or thinks it's a game.

I'm exhausted and so is my husband. Is it time to sleep train, and if so how do we go about this?

Sleep training should help at her age but make sure you get good advice and not just something off YouTube. Sleep training is hard but well worth it. If you are going to hire someone for advice make sure they are qualified or use one of the websites for sleep trainers. Good luck. You will get there in the end and get some sleep as will your husband and dd!!!!!

Would she come into your bed for a cuddle and sleep there?

I’ve never sleep trained but I have coslept with both. Whenever mine woke I would try feeding back to sleep, no lights, no talking etc and the phase would eventually pass. With both of mine sleep went tits up for a few weeks around 12 months. Usually teeth and learning to walk and it would go back to normal after.

I've sent you a message (if they're working again). I sleep trained both mine and we were all happier for it. My second was a little more tricky but they were both under 12mo.

How long does she nap for during the day? I always found split nights meant too much day sleep, and it was time to either drop or cap naps.

agree with @SideshowBobster split nights are usually a sign of something needs to change with day sleep
