12 month regression - help!!

My 13 month old has previously been a (mostly) good sleeper, but the 12 month regression has hit us hard. We’re 6 weeks in with barely any signs of it letting up.

We’ve reduced her daytime sleep, and are attempting the 2-1 nap transition. No matter what I do it doesn’t seem to make any difference - we’re having false starts almost every night (they’ve literally never happened before) and split nights most nights where she’s awake for 2+ hours.

How long does this regression last and can I do anything to help?!

Sympathy op. We have just come out of this. Ours lasted 8 weeks nearly. Not much you can do just keep calm and know that it will pass.

they say thus is the worst of all the regressions. Hang in there xxx

Did you change anything? All the signs point to needing one nap but I don’t want to do it prematurely because of the regression😩

Our (very experienced) nanny said that most babies aren't ready to go down to 1 nap until 15-18 months.
We went through this and it was definitely related to teething. It lasted for two months. Was awful. You have my sympathy, but I wouldn't reduce her naps.

I would really just sit it out, make sure good routines and habits are in place, but mostly just support each other to get sleep, and get used to going to bed really early.
