Have you tried sleep training? If so, what type? If it hasn't worked at all, are you against having him in bed with you, safely? Neither of my kids slept and we have quite a few tricks up our sleeve that did and didn't work (independent sleep and consistency did the trick for us).

Thank you, yeah we have tried cry out and the one where you settle everytime he cries

He sometimes goes 4-5 hours but then is awake and will only sleep on me so we have him in bed. Im not against it but i am a worrier so i always worry even tho i follow the safe rule i always have that fear so i dont end up sleeping 100%

He also has reflux which doesnt help when he is on his back

I have a 10 month old and he only ever goes 3-4hrs at most between wakes at night. This is completely normal for this age.

As a long-time cosleeper (with older DC) I really feel it gets us all the best sleep.

I do understand how it can be worrying and it’s. something we’re told to be careful of, however if you are following safe cosleeping guidelines I actually find not cosleeping more worrying (for me, I don’t worry about others doing whatever works for them) over the years I’ve had lots of situations where cosleeping has meant I am aware of things (sickness, temp, respiratory issues etc) as soon as they happen without relying on a baby monitor. For me, cosleeping feels significantly safer than separate sleeping.

Obviously you should only continue with what you are comfortable with, but if you can safely cosleep, it might be the quickest and easiest fix.

My son didn’t sleep through the night until he was 4 😅

My little boy (8.5 months old) had a lot of night wakings - I knew it wasn’t due to hunger. I tried everything for what feels like months.

I finally realised he was having just a bit too much daytime sleep. I have been using Huckleberry app for 3 weeks and it’s made such a difference!!! He has 2 naps a day now, long naps not lots of little ones like before. The app tells you day by day when he should nap.

i didnt think it would make any difference but it did - it’s worth a try!

@Ag1996 do you have an update on how your little one is sleeping?

Hello, hes 9.5 months now and his sleep is still no better hes still in bed with us. As he can stand now as soon as we put him down hes up by the time we left the room so takes about 1/2 hours to settle then we take him in with us for a full night sleep :(
