Currently haven’t got a routine as such, usually a feed at 7pm. Then at 10pm change nappy, change into pjs & have last bedtime feed, usually in next to me crib asleep by about 10.45-11. She does nap between the 7 o clock & 10 o clock feed on us in the living room. Should I be more strict with a routine? Or just go with it for now as she’s still only young? We also wait for her to wake in the night for her feed. Sometimes she goes 4 hours, a few times she’s gone 6-8 hours. im just curious as to how everyone else does bed time with their 3 months old. I feel we’re in a good routine once in bed, just haven’t got an evening routine before bed, Should I be doing anything different?

I would say if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Sounds good if it's working for you. If I remember rightly it was about the 12 week stage that sitting in front of the telly feeding was no longer an acceptable evening for my two, and they would be too easily disturbed by noise/chat so that was the point we started looking to settle them in upstairs in bed and leave them with the monitor for a couple of hours until we went to bed

Ahhh thank you, that makes sense, I will keep an eye out if she gets distracted by the tv.

It sounds good. All sleep should be in the same room as you for the first six months so naps in the living room is perfect. You don’t need to create routines. Just go with what’s working. Flexibility can pay off in the future.

Sounds like you are doing well to me. Your baby will change so quickly that you will know when you need to change something.
