My husband snores and it's killing my sleep. Can anyone recommend any kind of anti snore device that works? There's so much out there I don't know where to start!

A kick or a shove usually works to stop my DH snoring

Get him to go to his dentist to have a snore guard made.
You can get them online but they're honestly not worth it as if they're not properly fitted for you, they can damage your teeth.

Snore guard + snore strips (that go on your nose) should do the trick.
If not, it's a trip to the dr to look for underlying conditions such as sleep apnoea

I roll him over as it's only bad when he goes onto his back but sometimes I have to roll him 4 times in an hour. By which point I'm struggling to get back to sleep anyway. It's just such a broken night. I wear earplugs every night which help a bit but not enough. Just feel so jaded when everyone wakes up rested and I feel like death.

Is he over weight?

My DH has started mouth taping and it’s worked wonders!

No he's not at all, but carries a little bit extra around the waist.

Is there one you'd recommend? So many available I don't know what to get.

It's just really hard running on empty, especially over Christmas when I want energy to play with the kids and not feel like I need to go to bed at 9pm.

There are loads of options to try. Have a look here https://britishsnoring.co.uk/top_10_best_anti_snoring_products.php

you can also get balls that you attach to the back of your pyjamas so that you can't end up sleeping on your back. amzn.eu/d/8eNTpz8

This is so interesting. I was just thinking if I could put something uncomfortable behind his back to stop him rolling. Thank you

I tried absolutely everything with an ex partner as I snore. Strips, mouth guard, chin raiser, a tennis ball sewn into the back of my pyjama top. All of those together at the same time...nothing worked. I had lost lots of weight too and nope.

Now, with my wife, she nudges me and I roll over and we are good.

The only thing I'd suggest is make sure he eats earlier.

I made mine to take allergy pill every evening. Accident found out it works when we both had some reaction so took them in the evening and he did not snore! Does not work if taken in a morning btw.
Worth a try maybe as well?

Will try that myself!

My snoring has stopped after buying new pillows. I always went for quite thin flat pillows but recently got some firm plump ones for side sleepers, so my head is more elevated and DH reports there is no snoring at all.
