Give me all sleeping tips for 14 month old!! I'm at a complete loss at the minute with my son's sleep, we've got consistent routines, eats well, 1 nap a day but still doesn't sleep more than a couple hours at a time. Never slept through yet but has definitely slept a lot better than he does now! I'm exhausted, any kind of tips would be greatly appreciated!

What time does he go to sleep? How does he settle to sleep?

I am totally in the same boat so no help but following for advice too! I had thought things were improving but feel like they’re back at square 1 now!

He usually goes down about 7.20 and will have a bottle then in cot will have a little wiggly around and then go to sleep

It's so hard! We have a couple good days then everything seems to get even worse!

Slightly better I guess, still having 2-3 wake ups a night, I've moved his bed time slightly earlier to always in the cot for 7pm and will often be asleep within 5 minutes, he will often sleep solid till 12/ 1 o'clock then will wake every 2 hours after that 😴

What happens when they wake? Are they having milk?

Try moving the bottle to at least 30 minutes before he goes into the cot at night. I mean fully finished by 30 minutes before. Then do bath/books/whatever your routine is. Basically make sure that bottle and feeling of fullness isn't the last thing. He may have a feed to sleep association without actually physically feeding to sleep. This helped both of mine. (Try not to replace the bottle with rocking etc as this may just create another habit - and before anyone comes at me I don't mean no cuddles! If course cuddles. Just pop into bed fully awake at night if he is happy with that - hopefully he'll just wriggle and go to sleep himself as he does now but without the bottle to sleep association. Good luck.

I'll definitely give this a try! Thank you! I do think he's got a feed to sleep association, we will some times have a few good night with 1 wake up and I think he's cracked it then we back to square 1 😴

@19MA96 if he's waking numerous times a night I would look at how many hours he's napping for a day to start with. This is a typical indicator of over tiredness.
