Do I need to worry about DD sleeping on her front?

She's 8 months old. Her latest trick is rolling over onto her tummy and falling asleep like that. She hasn't figured out how to roll back onto her back.

You could spend all night getting up and turning her over.
I left mine to get on with it once they got to this stage.

after 6 months you can let them sleep however they like

No, you'll drive yourself batty. She's fine.

My DD only started sleeping through the night when she figured out how to roll over onto her tummy. If I'd realised that was what the secret was I might have helped her roll over a couple of months earlier!

Dc1 turned over at 4-5 months and after a number of badly interrupted nights putting him repeatedly on his back, only for him 10mins later to be on his front, I had to confront the fact I was being stupid, and a tiredly stupid at that .

Heated, my DD2 was exactly the same, me and Dp were knackered. She would NEVER sleep on her back as soon as she worked out how to roll! We bought one of those baby alarms that beep if they dont feel any movement after 10 seconds in the end. Its great as we are now using it for DD3 who is looking like doing the same thing - she hates lying on her back for any length of time. Its a worry to start with but you just get used to it, she will be fine.

From a very early age(2 weeks) my DD2 would only sleep on her front unless she was being held or snuggled in bed with me(co-sleeping). I think she found being on her front more cozy and secure as no sudden jumps in her sleep.
At 22 months she still tends to spend 90% of her sleeping on her front.
I think once they can turn over there's not much you can do about it.
