Can someone please help me. My daughter has been struggling to catch her breath on a night took her to the hospital they said she needs a urgent op for tonsil removal anyway we've had a sleep study I was emailed the results but I don't understand them. They've not put any information with it just the results. I was just wondering if anyone could help me understand them to see if her obstructive sleep apnea is severe or not im so stressed and scared she's only 3 she's been through so much already. Already had an operation for other respiratory problems she stopped breathing for over a minute so I really need to no these results please can someone help?

OP I've reported your post because your child's name is visible on the sheet.

JC03745 · 19/11/2024 21:35

You should ask MN to remove it, then cover your DD names and try adding them again. I'm afraid they are too blurring to read clearly.

santastolemycat · 19/11/2024 21:36

It looks like she desaturated 38 times during the study. So her oxygen levels dropped 38 times the lowest it went to was 88/100 and theses drops lasted on average 12 seconds but the longest was 36 seconds.

Oh thank you I will try remove now. So does this mean she has sleep apnea? Sorry just confusing

@3boysonemum you can't remove your own posts, but I've reported your post which has your DD's name on it.

May I ask how long it took to get the results once you handed the kit back?
