5 month old awake for hours every night

My daughter will be 5 months on Monday, her sleep has been rubbish since around 13 weeks, we don’t seem to have recovered from the 4 month sleep regression yet.

She seems to have gone through every phase possible, multiple wakings, chucking her own dummy out constantly, extra feeds, early wakes, refusal to go to bed, but her latest is that she will wake for a feed - usually between 2.30 and 3.30 and then require an entire wake window before she will even consider going back to sleep. This has been going on for weeks, and it wasn’t so bad when it first started, but as she’s got older and her wake windows are increasing, we’re now at a solid 2 hour block where she’s wide awake every night. She starts off happy and just rolling about chatting to herself, but then as she becomes more tired she just looses her mind.

Her day time routine is a bit all over the place, but as a second child she’s had to slot into place a little, but she’s having 3/4 naps a day, never more than a total of 3.5 hours, and her last nap ends between 4.30 and 5. I do struggle to keep her awake until 7. She gets put into bed awake, and takes herself to sleep - but she does have a dummy.

My eldest did this when she was a baby, but it was short lived, and coincided with her learning to crawl, which we are definitely not there with with this one! This is currently killing me 😫 as not only is her sleep pants, but she’s very much in a phase where she’s realising she can do things, but is obviously not able to sit or crawl, so she just gets so frustrated with herself, which makes the days long as well. Is there anything to do to help get out of this phase, or as with everything else do I just have to ride it out?
