Night weaning

DD is 8.5 months. She's been on 3 meals a day for around 3 weeks and is BF. Bedtime and feeds vary each night but she still wakes up for 2 feeds. Example:

8am wake and bf
(Number of bf sessions throughout day, usually around naps)
Breakfast - weetabix 5 spoonfuls
45 min nap around 11am
Lunch - chicken and pea mash (6/7 spoonfuls), some yoghurt and some prune pouch
45 min nap around 3.30pm
Tea - Chicken pasta (6/7 spoonfuls), avocado, prune pouch
Bedtime - big bf 8/8.30pm

Night wake/feeds are around 1am and 4am. Is it still normal to have 2 night feeds at this age and with solids?

And when did everyone else stop night feeds?

Absolutely still normal. My EBF son night weaned at 13 months (we kind of imposed this as i was on call overnight, however it was easy so he was ready). My daughter fed in the night until she was 18 months.

Yes, it's absolutely normal, and BM should be her main source of nutrition until 12 months. It's not recommended to night wean until at least 18 months.

My DD is almost identical in age to yours and generally still wakes once at night for a feed. Sometimes she sleeps through, other times she might wake twice. I’ve seen varying advice on when to night wean. We might see how she does over the next while and decide when to attempt it. She’s doing well on solids, having 3 meals plus her milk.

Ours stopped having a night feed at 6.5 months but we had moved over to formula at 5 months as i was back at work, so I guess it is different for EBF babies.
