Hey, congratulations on your little one! I'm sorry to hear you're struggling. Sleeping schedules are ALWAYS tough! How old is your little one?

My DS is 5 months old and from about 10/11 weeks, he began to sleep through. I didn't use an app despite seeing the Pampers Sleep App being advertised literally EVERYWHERE! I did download it prior to him sleeping through as I wanted to get ahead of the game however, as soon as I realised it cost a bit of money to use the resources (despite the app being free) I deleted it. I struggle with PND/PNA so sleep was a huge thing for me and still is. I didn't follow a routine for the most part but looked for signs he was really tired later into the evening. I would wake my DS up every 3-4 hours in the night as per the feeding guidelines. I tried to stay in control that way to help with my PNA and I found it hard to change it. Even now, I still wake up every so often to check on my DS.

To be honest, a lot of the apps available are a bit of a scam because every baby is different. Just when you think your baby is in a routine; they start regressing due to growth spurts, teething and just routine development. I would just start looking for signs that your baby is in somewhat of their own routine and try to match it! I don't do a "bath then bed" because my DS hates the bath. His last feed is always at 9pm and then he has an hour to play, babble and wear himself out.

I know it's really hard, but you're doing an amazing job! Feel free to PM me too if you need, believe it or not I am a midwife so have some logical understanding (most of the time!)
