Sleep regression at 9months old

My 9month old. Is currently going through teething and sleep regression. Whenever he is fully asleep we put him into cot and he will be awake in 40 mins. If we put him in cot when he’s awake he will just roll over onto his front wanting to crawl.
not napping really during day. Max of like 30 minutes.
He does wriggle a lot.
Any ideas? Thanks.

My nearly 11 month boy is also a mover. Him rolling and wanting crawl when you put him into cot awake may not necessarily be an issue and he may settle down on his own and go to sleep. It's normal for babies to take 5-20 mins to go to sleep. My boy always immediately rolls over and does some moving before settling to sleep. Sometimes he's gone end to end in the cot 5 times before settling. He also stands in there now. But then always lays down and goes to sleep. Maybe leave him for a few mins, if not crying etc and see if he will settle.

How many naps is he having? Could he be due a transition from 3 to 2 naps?

He was having 2 naps
but sometimes he will only have one.
he just wants to be on the go all the time. When we put him in the cot awake he will scream for quite a long time. We have done the giving him a few minutes etc. it just seems like he doesn’t want to miss anything in the world.
it’s good to know others have it to. But also sorry for your sleep deprivation

Only other think I can think is sounds like a FOMO baby (doesn't want to miss out on anything) is the room blacked out as much as possible? My boy is a bit FOMO and naps best in a completely blacked out room so nothing to look at
