When will my baby sleep through the night

Can I ask when did peoples babies sleep through the night?

Mine is 4 and half months and still wakes up 3 times for a feed and never sleeps more than 3 hrs at a time!

I try feed her more in the day but she's not a big milk fan so she will never drink more than she needs to at that time !

When does it get better..... ???

Possible she doesn't get on with that formula? You stopped breastfeeding a month ago then 3 weeks ago she's more unsettled and difficult after a feed?
What about trying a different formula?

For info my little one slept through on and off from 5 months and and fairly consistently from 16 months

Yes or she is reaching an age where she doesn’t need as many feeds at night so when she is waking it isn’t necessarily due to hunger.

DS2 is 20 months and probably started sleeping through reliably about 6 months ago.

My daughter had a really bad sleep regression around 4 months, total shock to the system as she was a great sleeper before that. Though she still woke up repeatedly to feed, she just went straight back to sleep after and was easily transferred back to cot. 4 months everything went out the window and she didn't resettle easily at all.
That being said, she's 2.5 now and still doesn't sleep through the night but resettles pretty easily.

Ah this is exactly what my baby is doing. Until 2/3 weeks ago, she used to wake up, feed and easily go back to sleep.... now she cries when she wakes up, doesn't take the bottle so easily and takes ages for me to put her back to sleep Rocking her in my arms!

Did you find it got better after or was she like that for a while?

She was combination feeding from 2 months but you could be right- she's always been a fussy drinker (even with breast milk!) the HV thought she just isn't a fan of milk.. thinking of weaning early at 5.5 months with some baby porridge before bed- no idea how that will work out!

I would say that honestly the most noticeable improvement in her sleep happened after she was a year old. But every now and again she has a few bad weeks, I think every developmental leap can throw them off a bit.
She's improved even more since 1 years old but she doesn't sleep through the night really ever.

Mine are 2.5 years and 3.5 years and still wake 2-3 times a night each. Sorry!

Depends what you mean by 'sleep through the night' as everyone has different interpretations of this. If you mean fairly reliably sleeping on a pretty consistent schedule of say min 10hrs a night then for DC1 it was about 6 months old and for DC2 it was about 16 months old.

Yeah sorry I realise from my responses that it was taken a bit too literal - I did mean just a better nights sleep in general, even waking up once would make me happy haha

I guess it just takes time!
