ladies,

I'm just wondering if anyone else is having the same experience at the moment. So my LO 6 months old is waking every night every 2 hours for milk, we think he's having a growth spurt but he's drinking so much milk!! I'm absolutely shattered. I work 32 hours a week however I'm dropping to 24 as of next week.

I have had both kids by myself this week as husband has been on night shift. So I've been taking the lead, getting the kids bathed and dressed, bus to nursery, full 9 hours at work, bus home, tea and bedtime routine. Little girl 3 is autistic and she is so hyper till bedtime and will bounce on the bed till she passes out, climbs her stairs gate and on the windowsils, she goes to bed around 11 and then next thing you know LO is awaiting his milk. As soon as my head hits the pillow someone wakes up. I'm feeling drained this weekend all I've wanted to do is sleep, exhaustion, aches and pains... not forgetting the extra added work load at work as I've just been promoted. I normally manage really well but I think husband being on nights and having no help has totally thrown me. I feel like I shouldn't be feeling this way... husband tells me I shouldn't be this exhausted and thinks there's something underlying as my body should adapt to feeling this way apparently...

Yes there is something making you so tired, you have two small people who rely on you for everything and you're working as well.

If your DD has ASD, have you tried her with Melatonin?
