Any advice on how to sleep train a 9 month old?

I put my 9 month daughter to bed anywhere from 7-8 pm after giving her a bath and a bottle and she sits in my lap iny bed and I gently rock back and fourth until she falls asleep and I have since she was born, then I would transition her to my bed and sleep with her, waking up every few hours with her and rocking her back to sleep or giving her a bottle (I know, some of you are going to say I'm putting her at risk of SIDS, risky, or it's not good for her or blah blah blah). Moving forward to now (9 months old) and now I'm running into a bit of a problem. 😬 So I started putting her in her crib after rocking her to sleep in my lap with bottle but she's still waking up every few hours or less and can't go back to sleep without being sat on my lap and rocked or given a bottle. Not sure if she has sleep apnea or night terrors but she will wake up gasping for air every night and she has muscle spasms and twitches her legs and arms at night. Also sometimes she will wake up screaming like she's had a bad dream (it's a sad sad cry). Not sure if she has reflux either, going to Dr. this month. Anyways, I need to know if anyone has any advice on how to help her sleep longer at night without waking up for night feedings or out of habit, or any advice on general. Thanks

I'm glad you're taking her to the Dr, the waking up gasping for breath would concern me! In the meantime my daughter would settle with bum pats once she started sleeping on her tummy. She took forever to start sleeping through the night but we could often rely on bum pats to make get her back to sleep quickly. If you haven't tried white noise, that was a massive game changer for us. She still goes to sleep with it now at 16 months
