Waking every hour - could it be her cot?

My little one is 5 months and we've never had great success with her sleep, we suspect it's down to her reflux (now on gaviscone), but the wakings seem to be getting progressively worse.

Since from around 3 months she has slept in her cot bed in own room with white noise machine from 7pm (when I put her down) until my husband brings her in to my room (my husband has to sleep in another room so he can work/look after our other child etc.) at around 10.30 after a dream feed, where she sleeps in her snuzpod. We've found this was the only way I could get some sleep as she wakes every 2-3 hours and most recently, every hour. The majority of the time she will sleep in her room happily and doesn't wake as often, but once she's in our room for the rest of the night she wakes... alot. So, I'm wondering if it's the change in setting? I have the white noise machine quieter (otherwise I don't sleep) in my room and as she's started rolling I think she gets frustrated with not being able to move as much in her snuzpod. We've had some good nights where she's managed to sleep from 7pm until 3am with a dream feed in the middle, but that hasn't happened in a while. Also, she's always woken from 4/5am and then every 30 mins/ hour afterwards and I end up bringing her into bed with me and co-sleep (I'm not a fan of doing this, but can't the alternative is picking her up feeding)settling her, putting her down every 30 mins).

I'm wondering if we should just keep her sleeping in her room for the night, but also, as she's not quite 6 months (will be in 3 weeks) I'm apprehensive that we are doing it too soon. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I had/have a terrible sleeper. At around 4/5 months he started waking every 2 hrs then it worsened to every 1hr feeds overnight.

Have you considered sleep training? My advice is maybe go with baby in own cot in own room for the whole night...babies like routine...with some sleep training?

Sleep training can be gentle and graduated. We used Ferber method and it was totally manageable and more importantly...it worked!

No, sadly her room isn't large enough for me to be in there as well
