My 3.5 month old is still thrashing about and snorting / grunting SO loudly, from about 3am EVERY night! I do all the night feeds and I can’t handle it anymore! 😩 I need sleep! 😭
He’s had a few digestive issues but we seem to be getting on top of that now. He’s finally pretty happy most of the day and stomach issues are def calming down. However, he’s still all over the place half of the night. He doesn’t wake up, doesn’t seem to have trapped wind, he’s not too hot or cold… I haven’t figured out what it is but I’m ready for him to grow out of it now! Lol 🙏🏼
Has anyone else had this for so long, or come up with a reason and managed to sort it? It seems like he’s really distressed, but he’s still asleep and when I’ve tried to wake him, he’s just wanted to go back to sleep. I’m truly baffled now!

Thanks in advance!

have a read about active sleep in newborns. They make all sorts of rackets! My little one also travels around his cot jamming himself up in corners etc so i gave to pull him back

Ours snored like a little piglet for her first 6 months.

Why are you doing all the night wake ups though? DH and I took it 50/50

Thanks - I’ve had a read but everything I’ve come across suggests he should have grown out of this weeks ago?? Makes me wonder if it is active sleep?? 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

Oh really, that’s both reassuring and depressing!! 😂😂😂 My partner has a relatively dangerous job with heavy machinery / flammable chemicals etc, he’s already had a couple of very close calls before baby was born. We made the decision that he needs sleep to be safe at work…. Damn it 😩😂😂
