Contact naps - any tips on freeing up two hands?!

I'm embracing the contact naps (set up usually I'm sat up in bed, he's on his side, faced toward me with nipple in mouth) and to be honest am quite happy reading my book in bed for large chunks of the day, but as this wears thin I'd like to be a bit more productive - how much I can do one handed on my phone is limited, I'd love find a way of setting up my laptop and freeing up both hands to get a bit of writing done. I managed this for one nap with an elaborate cushion/blanket support system, but for most naps it's always a little too awkward, I'm never prepared enough and I abandon the idea. Anyone got any good hacks? Homemade or purchased? I don't have a breastfeeding pillow as I didn't see the point, but maybe that's a solution that might be more reliable than cushions/pillows. P.s. I'm not falling asleep in this position so just trying to maximise little ones comfort without it literally being my arm rather than worrying too much about safe sleeping.

I loved the contact naps! Enjoy the peace and holding your little sweetheart 💛 have you tried a sling?
Or try breastfeeding lying down on the bed and gently remove your nipple when LO has finished/is flutter feeding and then slowly sit up? Leaves your LO lying on the bed next to you and you’re free to do some bits handsfree?

I miss contact naps. Will menever get to experience it again.

What I did was tried to wait 15/20mins then while still attached rolled to my side and placed DS on the bed and careful removed nipple. It took time to work but when it did was amazing.
We Co sleep so his bed oa our bed. I just added those safety rails. And camera and by 9/10months I was able to leave for his entire nap and get things done.

A nursing pillow that has a wode flat surface is better. Or using a sling/wrap and nurse hands free.

I saw a lady on Tiktok nursing/napping while sking. Super unsafe but just saying it can give you back some freedom.

I even seen a lady walking down the high street doing the same.

I have been in exact same boat. Dd is 8 weeks old and will only nap being held. It didn't really bother me until this last week which was half term and I couldn't just sit about for 3 hours 🤣 So I would put my sling on at the start of the day, feed little one and let her fall asleep on me then transferred her into the sling... to be fair, I then ended up sitting on sofa knitting for at least an hour and watching a programme because "self care" but it meant if I needed to pee or wanted to wash the dishes, tend to my other chilsr3n ai had the ability to do so. I have a caboo and an ergobaby embrace... I do wonder though how this little one will ever nap independently as with my first daughter I got very accustomed to a 3hour break during the day while she napped in her cot. We are co-sleeping here too and if you check the lullaby trust website guidelines have been updated regards co-sleeping and it is perfectly safe if planned.
