Products to stop baby from sleep rolling

Hi all! My daughter is coming up to the age where we will soon move her into her own bedroom and from the moses basket into her big girl cot 🫣

To ease her in I've been popping her down for naps in the bigger cot and the issue I'm having is that she loves to roll and sleep on her front! When I roll her back within 5 mins she's back onto her tummy again.

I brought the baby Sense-u monitor to alert me when she rolls (so I can go to move her back when needed) but the alarm is just not loud enough and I know this will not wake me in the night when needed.

Does anyone have any safe suggestions, ideas or products I can try please? 😊

It is safe for babies to tummy sleep when they can roll themselves. You don't have to keep rolling her back over. Don't use any products in the cot, a clear cot is vitally important.

I didn't really want to use a bumper or postioner etc as I am so so anxious about SIDS (naturally an anxious person too 🥹😳) but didn't know if there was any better monitors etc- first time mumma so its all a bit of a minefield 🙈

Rolling wise she's good at getting on to her tummy, but struggles to get back onto her back at the minute xxx

Once a baby can roll over the advice is to always put them to sleep on their back, but leave if they roll over. I assume baby is 6 months if moving into their own room so will be fine.

You are not supposed to stop them rolling

She's coming up 6 months, just wanting to get my ducks in a row ready for the change 😊

I'm really hot on safe sleep practices, so very anxious about her rolling and sleeping on her tummy. She can go from back to front, but not back again just yet 🫣🥹

Just wondering if any other Mummas had advice on how I can make it safer or alert myself when she gets stuck on her tummy when in her room really as what I had in mind (Sense-u) just isn't loud enough.

Appreciate all your support and comments back on the thread 🤗

If she can roll in one direction, she has the neck strength to be safe on her front.
Put her down on her back, in an empty cot, feet to foot, and let her sleep.

Once they can roll it’s fine to let them sleep on their front.
Lots of tummy time in the day and practice with the rolling from front to back if you feel the need.
