20month old. Always slept until 7 months in our room. In next to me crib. After that tried cot. Would wake every time I put her In. Tried everything. Ended up getting a floor bed. Worked better. Got into the habit of taking her up. Giving her a bottle in bed around 7pm then she would fall asleep in my arms in her floor bed. I would creep out after she’s fallen asleep. Worked for around 6months. But always used to wake up around 11pm to 2am. She climbs out of floor bed quietly and gets to gate in her doorway and either cries or says mumma mumma etc. My fault but being pregnant I’ve just always bought her straight into our room at whatever time she wakes up (after 11pm before then I would go into her bed and get Her back to sleep). But when she’s in our bed she will sleep soundly with no wake ups whatsoever until around 8am or so!! However the past week we have had it even worse. She takes three
hours to go to sleep. Throws her dummy etc asks for more milk after even one bottle she’s just had etc. then once
i have got her to sleep she could even wake up with me quietly ( again our floor boards make noise but try and limit
where I stand) she can wake. Sometimes I get away with it and again lasts until the above time and I just take her in (I’ve tried
to ignore her and let her cry and see if she goes to sleep herself but trying it once even after like an
hour it didn’t work and I don’t like that approach ) I’ve tried staying in room for a bit further away etc). She has white noise and always has. She’s a very alert 20month old and im
worried in October when our second arrives she is going to need me
more than the baby! I can’t have her in our room etc when trying to feed etc and I’m at a loss what to do!!

How long does she nap? I reckon she needs less of that and/or a later bedtime.

Sometimes half hour to an hour. Sometimes not at all. This week instead of 7:30 we have been putting her down at 8:30 to 9 she stil isn’t falling asleep until ten. That is too late She never used to be like this. It’s like a 2 yr early regression or something. I’m hoping it won’t last more than two weeks !! X

Sounds like she's dropping her nap to me. You'll be in the won't fall asleep because not tired enough vs won't fall asleep because overtired phase.😂
