Can anyone recommend sleep trainer or clinic in london/north london?

DD2's sleeping (not sleeping) is getting worse and worse. She now sleeps for about an hour after i put her down 7-ish and then pretty much refuses to settle after that unless in bed with me and latched on.
This is despite following NCSS steps to 'pull off' which seemed to work for a while but no longer.

SO we think it's probably time to call the professionals.

We are in crouch end. i haven't seen hv yet but does anyone know if they refer to sleep clinics?

otherwise i've seen andrea grace recommended...she's expensive (£250 for home visit package) but what price sleep? or the millpond clinic or naturally nuturing. there was a mn-er nannyme but she seems to have folded as i can't get her website or see recent messages from her.

Any recommendations or experiences of any of the above, good or bad, would be great to hear!

ps don't want to do cc...

How old is she?

No idea if there's anything in crouch end, never seen anything advertised, I like the millpond book, and think that's who I would contact if I wanted a sleep clinic. Good luck.

have heard great things re: millpond too

EnormousChangesAtTheLastMinute · 12/02/2008 22:44

oops, she's 23 weeks. big lass. suspect she'll like her grub when we get there. if i had a pound for everyone who'd told me to stop breasfeeding her and/or give her solids i could afford a week long andrea grace visit!

will check out millpond website. i'm not sure if i've already read their book - so many tomes they're starting to merge into one mental contradictory sleep manual!

Try Rebecca of Baby Moon Baby Moon Sleep Counselling I know that Baby Moon is something that I do but Sleep Counselling is Rebecca's baby and we're incredibly local to you.

Before shelling out for a consultant, look at babywhisperer.com. It's free and the moderators are really experienced with these sorts of problems.
