3 month old won't go in cot at all

Hi,
Does anyone have any tips on how to get my 3.5 month old to sleep in her cot? She is my 3rd child and whilst my first 2 weren't great sleepers they would at least go down for a few hours in the evening to allow me to have dinner etc.
Number 3 has never slept in her cot, not once. We co sleep at night and she naps in sling or car seat if driving in the day. If I feed/rock her to sleep she wakes up within minutes of being put down. She's in a swaddle suit and white noise is on. I don't want to sleep train as she is way too young.
I'm at my wits end, I just want a few hours in the evening to myself! Dinner and maybe a bath!!

Do you have a travel cot? Could get one to fit cot mattress. Mine slept downstairs in they're cot during the day. Or in they're pram. Used to put them down and hoover up and they would go off to sleep. Get's them used to every day noise's. Car seats aren't safe for them to sleep in when not in car. There's more risk of positional asphyxiation.

I am in the same boat. The max time ds will stay in his bedside crib is 15 mins. He wakes so easily whereas in my arms he will sleep for 2 hours. Its frustrating as hell. He won't even sleep in the pram or carseat so it's just contact naps and my house is a constant mess!! At.night we Cosleep but he has to lie on my arm and face me so he can feel me breathing on him. I'm just waiting until he's a lot older and hopefully things will change but right now I'm just going with it. I envy those parents who say their baby sleeps in a cot all night.

Do you want her to sleep in her cot?

My LO is the same age and I love co-sleeping. She sleeps the longest and we do it safely (check out lullaby trust website). I plan to for a while as I co-slept with my teenagers when they were babies. My LO also sleeps in her baby harness on walks (not tried a pushchair as she isn't quite there yet). I enjoy being nap trapped so don't mind when she falls asleep in my arms; when I know she is tired, I prepare myself to rest with her. However, due to me returning to work at some point, I'll practice new sleeping positions.

When you put her in the cot, if you lower feet first, then bottom then head, then place a hand over her chest and keep there for a few minutes before the stealth move, this may help?
You could even try the mattress on the floor so you're not going over the bars (obvs stay with her) then upgrade as she gets used to it?
And then there is weighted sleep suits some people use. Hope this helps!

Thanks for replies all. So since I wrote this she has actually started going down for a few hours in the evening. It was weird but 2-3 days after posting this she started doing it. Didn't do anything different but was obviously just ready. She is still fed and/or rocked to sleep and once she wakes at about 11pm/midnight we co sleep but just having those few hours in the evening has made all the difference. For anyone else just hang in there, it will happen x

A hot water bottle in the cot before you put her down, which you them remove before putting her in the cot can help.
