Not a serious or important question at all, but I'm curious.
It seems that most toddlers once they drop down to one nap have it in the afternoon. However, all of my children (3) have had theirs in the morning. The older one was always at 11am on the way home from a toddler group that we went to 4/5 days a week. The younger two haven't had this routine because we live somewhere else, but they'll wake at 7am and then go back to sleep anywhere from 9:30 to 11ish depending on what we are doing.
They don't nap in the afternoon, but I also can't do anything with them after about 4pm because they are basically only fit for dinner, play/TV, bath and bed (at 7ish). Even after dropping the nap at 2.5ish I couldn't do stuff in the afternoons (can't remember until what age for DS1; DS2 is 4.5 and still can't; DS3 is 1.5 and still napping). If for some reason they skip their morning nap and have an afternoon one, it's a nightmare as they won't go to bed. 12:30 would probably be fine but anything after 1pm is danger nap territory.
Anyway I was just wondering if it's a common pattern or really weird, people often seem surprised by it. I wonder why all three of them have done it the same.
