Desperate for advice on 13M old sleep

Hi all

My girl slept through from the age of approx 6M yet a couple of months ago has started to wake numerous time a night and taking ages to settle in the evening. Routine is non existent as she wakes at different times each day and can be a pain to get to nap at a specific time! We currently change her and give her a bottle downstairs then take her up, hold her till she sleeps then put her in cot. Sometimes this can take 5 mins, others 90 like today. She doesn't nap well at nursery which then affects how she is for that evening also. She is teething badly at the moment which doesn't help but i’m really struggling with knowing what i can do to improve it as its starting to get to me. she will happily self settle on my bed but will scream if i put her down awake in her cot. I really need to tackle the self settling as think will improve sleep at home and nursery. Any advice appreciated

Unfortunately nobody is going to recommend sleep training for a baby who is teething @Chans11, usually, it's just a case of trying to get through it. What are you doing now for pain relief?

If she's not napping properly at Nursery, do they have any suggestions?

And if she's walking at different times, what times does she wake?

I think you need to wait until teething is over which shouldn't be that long then my best advise is put down awake and do the controlled crying./sleep training. Yes I know I can hear the pearls being clutched but it's a life saver snd worked brilliantly for me. But each to their own.

We are alternating between calpol and nurofeon at the moment with anbesol liquite aswel!

nursery have tried numerous things, she does sometimes nap there but think that she because she just crashes! She has a fear of missing out i’m sure!

she can wake anywhere between 530-730 with the odd wakeup at night which has resulted in out putting her in our bed whilst she is teething so we all get abit of extra sleep

Yes I was thinking this and wont do anything until the teeth are through! How many days did it take for you to tackle it? Thanks

That's so difficult then. If I remember correctly, no cry sleep solution has a section on early waking.

We found Dentinox Teething Gel helped us too.

And it's definitely teething? She hasn't got a bug has she?

Yeah was just wondering if it might be something else as we are the hapless parents who missed tonsillitis because we thought it was teething 🤦‍♀️
