Getting sleep when baby has rsv

Anyone have any tips for the adults to get some sleep? We're on day 8 of rsv in our household with my 3 year old and 3 month old. Luckily the 3 year old is only waking once a night now but the baby is having a coughing fit at least every 10- 30 minutes unless we have her propped upright in our arms. Me and my husband haven't had more than a couple of hours sleep each a night in over a week, the baby's coughing doesn't look like it's going to ease anytime soon.

Any tips to help us maximise sleep or experience of when to expect we can put her down or her cough ease?

We found a humidifier helped a little. Propping the head of your cot up too. Taking them into the bathroom when you shower, giving them baths too. It's so hard, unfortunately I think it's a case of hunker down and it will pass soon. It's so tough and you are very strong!

@Mamabear04 thanks for replying! Will give those things a go. Just feels like it's never going to end at the minute 😩 how long before yours started sleeping a bit better?

Don't worry it will end! It's just very hard and constant but you are a very experienced mum and you can do hard things!
DS was 3mo and my 3yo caught it too on account of not being exposed to anything like it on account of being a lockdown baby. The bad cough lasted about a week and then he started to sleep a bit better but I would say it took about 3 weeks to get back to normal. It's horrible but it does get better!
