Early wakings 7 months old

I'm at my wits end with sleep and my almost 7 month old 😖

Since the 4 month sleep regression and moving to his own room he wakes multiple times a night for his dummy so I am forever up and down reinserting it all night. He also still feeds once a night. In addition to this he wakes between 5/5:30 every single morning. My daughter was an early riser too waking at that time for almost 4 years and it nearly broke me. She just didn't wake up all night too.

He has a good routine (I think) naps as below;
08:30 (around 1hr 15)
12:00 (around 1hr 15)
16:00 cat nap 10/30 mins
Bedtime 7pm (we've brought this forward every the catnap is missed but even with a later nap he still screams to be put to bed at 7pm and goes off to sleep fine)

We do have to force the issue to get the last nap in now but with him waking so early it's needed

I have an older daughter he regularly wakes with his crying in the morning as we try and resettle him until 6am 😭
Any advice appreciated, should I ditch the dummy? Any sleep training suggestions, where I'm going wrong with the routine? I know I should be reducing daytime sleep now but it's a vicious circle. I'm not an anxious person but I've started going to bed feeling sick every night thinking about how many times I'm going to be up and down all night

Have you thought about the first nap of the day being pushed out a little? That first nap often reinforces an early rise especially with it being fairly long.
my now 2 year old was a bugger for an early rise, sometimes still is but not every day ….and he used that first nap to catch up!
that should then help you knock the cat nap at the end of the day on the day too as it will push everything else back

Have you tried putting lots of spare dummies in his cot? Eventually they learn to find one and pop it back in themselves!

@FTMworrier the first nap can be pushed later but for example this morning he's been awake since 5:15 so even a 8:30 nap is still a 3.25 hour wake window 😩 I could push to 9am to try and reset him although I'd imagine he'll likely scream from 7:30 to want to be put down for a nap 🤦🏼‍♀️

@Pictograph have tried the spare dummies. I know he's a little young to put them back in yet so torn between riding it out or ditching the dummy, although I can envisage this boy wanting it still to be done for him even when he can do it himself 😅

Isn’t this pretty normal for a baby that age? I get that it’s frustrating, but it sounds typical.

I agree with this. Maybe bring the baby back into your room? So it's less up and down in the night.
