Since my son turned 1 his body clock has gone crazy, he goes to bed at 6pm he will wake up at 11 (now wanting a bottle and doesn't settle until he's had one) he will then go back asleep then by half 3 he is wide awake wanting to get up, no matter how hard we try he won't go back asleep. By half 4 i bring him down (we have another son, so letting him cry wakes him up) he will be yawning his head off, so if he's tired why isn't he sleeping? 😂 by half 7 he is kicking off wanting a nap, i try to make him wait till around half 8 (will let him have a 2 hr nap) then he stays awake till bed time. (This has been his routine for 2/3weeks as he was refusing an afternoon sleep) Me and my partner work 12 hour shifts so a bit of sleep would be nice before work 🤣🙈 what am i doing wrong? Should i try again with another afternoon nap? How much should they be sleeping during the day? He used to sleep from 7:15/30pm till 5am which I was fine about but these half 3 mornings are killing us off. Sorry about the long post, any advice we would appreciate 🙏 thank you

Sounds like lo is massively overtired, hence the no sleeping. Yes I would definitely be trying for an afternoon nap, especially if up at that time.

I think most people do
930am till 10am sleep
1pm till 3pm sleep.
Bed 7pm.

if I put my lo to bed at 7pm she be up at 5am. I think I did
930am till 1030am
130pm/2pm sleep until 4pm.
8pm sleep.

Is there any where your other lo can sleep for a few nights. Take a few days off too. To sort it out I would keep lo in room no matter what. Nice dark. Do anything you can to get lo to sleep at that time of morning. I wouldn't take out of their room, and could habit now. So need to break it.

Some people do night weaning all in one swoop so offering water. Tough few days. Along with the sleeping.

I know it's not easy.

I would check the room temperature, use a room thermometer and check the temp in the morning, you may find the room temp drops and therefore LO is waking cold
