Love to dream alternatives

3 week old DS hates Love 2 Dream swaddle. I can swaddle him with a large muslin but it's a faff especially during the night and he does occasionally wriggle out unless really snoozy.

What are you looking for? A regular swaddle recommendation? If so I used the miracle blanket

Yes, exactly. Thanks I've not heard of Miracle blankets

Second miracle blanket, bit more faffy to put on than the love to dream swaddle but on my view better

Thanks I now have a miracle one and can't say I'm impressed. All the demo videos show a still baby being swaddled whereas mine is wriggly and I struggle to get it right enough. Feels as faffy if not more.

I never swaddled mine, tried a handful of times but he always wriggled his arm out so I stopped bothering and just used a sleep sack.

My recommendation is to buy a flat cot sheet. Cut it I'm half along the short edge, so you have two very long, thin rectangles. You then gave two swaddles- one for use and one for the wash.

The fact that they are very long left-to-right means that you get yo wrap the baby all the way around with both sides. Keeps baby nice and snug and tight.

The fact they see short top to bottom means it's loose on the hips, which is good for physical development.

Plus, this is a real old skool cheap as chips way to swaddle.
