YerAWizardHarry · 10/10/2022 01:45

also 29 and never go to the toilet through the night

Shirty48 · 10/10/2022 01:51

I didn’t at 29 to be honest but at 48 it’s definitely a thing. Do you stop drinking a couple of hours before bed and only drink water (cold drinks) for a couple of hours before that? I don’t always do this but it does help.

transformandriseup · 10/10/2022 02:24

Not at 29 but mid 30's I do.

Butterfly44 · 10/10/2022 02:28

Is this new ie. You never did this before?
Are you drinking more?

starrynight21 · 10/10/2022 02:47

That is normal for me. Always has been.

GrumpyPanda · 10/10/2022 05:00

At that age, unless there's something the matter with your blader, it's easy to train yourself out of it. I did - much better for my quality of sleep. Just whenever you're half awake and get the urge, decide to wait a bit more and go back under instead.

lightisnotwhite · 10/10/2022 05:50

How long can you last in the day? I had a bladder of steel when teaching as I never got a break. Also meant I could happily go all night without one which was good because I had a very early start.

Train yourself and don’t drink too much before bed.

coldfeetmama · 10/10/2022 06:32

Do you have any other symptoms?

Frequently urinating during the night is associated with diabetes ..

But then you would get the same if you drank a lot on the evenings , had a weak or small bladder , had always emptied your bladder as soon as you felt any pressure on it or were a light sleeper so I'd not worry about that unless you have other medical concerns

rainbowandglitter · 10/10/2022 07:00

I'm 40 and never get up for a wee in the night.

SisyphusDad · 10/10/2022 07:01

It can be an indicator of sleep apnoea.

Unexpecteddrivinginstructor · 10/10/2022 07:02

Do you drink much caffeine or alcohol in the evening? That will make it worse.

tea1tea2 · 10/10/2022 11:21

I am 35 and always have coffee before go to bed and don't wake up for wee during night.

I have given birth to three children vaginally and I honestly thought that my bladder will be weak but it surprised me.

friedbrainrightnow · 10/10/2022 11:22

You need a check for type 1 diabetes asap
