Why is my 7 month old screaming on and off all night?

Hiya,
I have a lovely 7mo who is EBF (with weaning solids) who can self settle to sleep. I did some pick up / put down / shush pat slowly over a few weeks at around 5/6 months and I did control crying for naps at 6.5 months. If I get her at the end of her awake window (3-3.5 hours) she can go down completely awake in cot and put herself to sleep in 5 minutes by babbling and shuffling. Great! But she is waking a lot and last night she sobbed on and off all night last night.
Our routine is
7am wake (she often wakes between 5-6 and 50/50 goes back to sleep)
9:30 nap 1 until 10:45
2-2:30 nap 2 for 1.5 hours. Awake by 4.
Bedtime 7-8pm ish although she often breastfeeds to sleep

I am happy to keep feeding 1-2 times a night and think it's early to nightwean but the distress is something else! What's going on?! There is no sign of teeth, she doesn't have a cold so not ears, her naps are really restful in cot at home. She sleeps in her cot in a sleeping bag (20 degrees in a 2.5 tog bag and baby grow).

It’s one of these things

  • coming down with something
  • cold (try adding a vest)
  • feeding to sleep during the night

When you say sobbed on and off all night do you mean she woke up crying and wouldn't settle back to sleep? My DD had a period of about a week when she would wake several times in the night crying histerically, but would settle quite easily if I went in and shushed her for a minute. I thought it might have been teething pain because at the end of the week she had a tooth through at the bottom. Maybe try giving her some Nurofen before bed one evening and see if that helps. If she wakes less than you'll know it's probably her teeth causing discomfort.
