Night time nappies?

DD 14 mths has had a few morning lately where she has woken early and can't settle herself back to sleep. Reason seems to be her nappy is very wet and obviously uncomfortable - once changed she is fine.

She is in Pampers size 4 which seem fine during the day. As I changed and settled her back to sleep at 5AM I was pondering to myself if there is such a thing as "night time nappies". Does anyone know? Or do I just go up a size? I don't want to restrict her in the day as she has just start walking - but guess I could just use larger ones at night.

I find Tesco essential nappies are more absorbant than pampers. Maybe get a small pack of size 4+ to try at night time? My DD is a very heavy wetter and they last her for 12+ hours at night time.

Are you using pampers baby dry? They're designed for overnight.

Boots sell something called a disposable booster pad..they are meant to use with terries(and are usually with the cloth nappy bit) but work great if you pop one into the disposable nappy, just boosts the absorbancy a bit.

Brilliant - thanks for the suggestions. It would be nice not to have to do a nappy at 5AM too often!

I also use Tesco baby essentials (green pack) nappies for night time and they do much better than pampers. Always use the biggest size for your lo's weight as the bigger the size the higher the absorbancy
