Hi everyone,

I’m in need of some help. Earlier this year my wife and I embarked on this new journey of parenthood. The first few months were smooth, but once we reached 22+ weeks my wife started suffering with severe back aches due to her growing bump, as well as hip pains for laying on her side too much. The stretches and paracetamol we were told to take was not helping. I even tried to massage her but it didn’t work. Seeing my wife like this hurt especially not being able to do anything. Randomly we were scrolling down TikTok and we saw a pregnant woman use her pregnancy pillow like a donut for her belly, allowing her to lay on her front. My wife tried it and said it really helped take the pressure off of her back, but the problem was it wasn’t stable enough to last throughout the night. I made it my mission to create a mattress that will allow pregnant women to sleep on their chest and alleviate body aches and pains while they sleep at night.

This is where you come in, I have created a brief survey with 4 multiple choice questions that I would love for you to answer in regards to the pregnancy mattress, the link to the survey is below:

You'll need to speak to the royal college of obstetricians to see if what you propose is actually safe

Get her a Anna Pregnancy Pillow, it is designed to help with this exact thing and is very stable. It was a game changer in my pregnancy. They also explain the medical research supporting sleeping on your stomach and why it helps with those pains. The donut pillows isn't very supportive I found. You don't need a mattress, just the right pillow. The website is natalcomfort.com/
