6m Naps out the window

DD is 6m on Sunday and has been a reasonably good napper since around 3m having 4 30 min naps a day.

A couple of weeks ago her morning nap started to extend to about 60 to 90 mins however, in the last week she now screams when put down for a nap in her cot (she's been napping in here for the past month or so to get her used to it) she will go off to sleep for the 1st or 2nd nap after 15 minutes or so of grumbling/crying/fussing. She has white noise & blackout blind.

However when it comes to the afternoon she point blank refuses to nap even if she has only has 2 30min naps around 9am and 11am.
I have tried in the cot, in the pram, on me/sling, rocking, bouncing etc but just becomes inconsolable.

Unsure what to do as then she is so overtired and screaming by bedtime (7pm). I just wondered if anyone else had experienced this? I just cannot work out what has changed?

Any suggestions gratefully received 🙃

everything has changed because babies are constantly developing: growth spurts, weaning, nap transitions. I honestly wouldn't worry- count how much time she's sleeping over a 24hr period, you may find it's the correct amount in total:

my babies probably got routined with their naps around 7/8 months.

I did wonder if it could be to do with the growth spurt, her milk intake has gone up massively to almost 36/38 oz a day and so have literally just started to wean her.

Ty this is helpful I will just go with the flow for now and re look at naps in a month or so Smile
