13 month old frequently waking in night

Hi all,

My 13 month old started nursery 4 weeks ago and has settled in really well. Unfortunately the downside has been we've had 2 colds, COVID and a stomach/sickness bug. Over these weeks due to him being so ill he ended up in my bed a lot because he was so unsettled and especially with this awful cough. I just let him breast feed as much as he needed for comfort and to soothe his throat. The cough is still lingering and he has a constant runny/blocked nose.

I've got the calpol plug in, humidifier, and baby vics for his feet and chest and that was all working fine until 3/4 days ago where he's been awake every 45 mins and the most he's slept is 2.5 hours. It's the same whether he's in the cot or with me.

Could this be a combination of development, illness, nursery?

He's not walking yet, but I think potentially he's going to soon as he's clambering around holding on to everything.

I start back to work next week and I'm so worried I will I'll not be able to function!

🆘

Anyone been through or going through this?

I have a 13 month old who also recently started nursery. We've already had one cold but he seems fine. However I think he's now teething. He also keeps waking up anytime from 430 and is really unsettled and just wants to get up. He's asleep a few hours after he's woken which makes me think he's still tired but I have no idea what to do. We're getting frequent wakings too. I've tried co sleeping but he doesn't seem to like it so I jus try stroking his back until he goes back to sleep and this seems to work.
