15 Week Sleep

Hi All

Would love some advice/guidance.

We have a lovely 15 week old boy, who has never been a consistent sleeper. Between week 12 and 14 sleep improved massively.

And then boom, week 15 hit and its gone backwards which makes me think its the very common regression at this time. He sleeps well from 8pm to after midnight, then it all goes very wild.

Some nights we have had a wake up every 2 hours, some nights every hour. We did have a full night of no wakes the other day so i remain hopeful.

His naps are fine although short at 30/40 mins (plenty of them though).

All sleep is aided with dummy but only used for naps and night sleep.

So much advice out there on how to deal with it, but just wondering is it something we ride out? Is there anything we can do to help the situation?

I'm really sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this actually sounds good for 15 weeks! He's doing a 4 hour stretch, my kids didn't do this until well over 12 months. Try to maximise your sleep in this first stretch x

What happens in these wake ups?

If it's just a case of lean across, reinsert dummy and a but if snuggling (with a couple of feeds maybe) then actually you just need to change your expectations.

Hi All,

We are in the midst of the 4 month sleep regression and things got gradually worse as the week continued.

There is so much conflicting advice and @FATEdestiny I totally agree with expectations and we are going with the flow.

I was just wondering is there anything we can do to help our DS? So much advice out there and its very conflicting (carry on with what we are doing riding it out, Vs sleep train etc)

At a bit of a loss if we are going wrong?
