Where can I get double low/floor beds

Hi. I have a 2.5 year old and a 9 month. I would like to get them both small double beds as want them to start sharing a room by the time the littlest is 1 but need the beds to be as low to the floor as possible. I have read you can just use mattresses but they have to be aired regularly etc. would rather them have some kind of bed base but want them low to the floor so less of a fall. Struggling to find anything affordable online.
Thanks

I think what you're looking for is a futon frame or (now more commonly known as) a "platform bed".

They're basically low bed frames that were very popular in the 90s. I had one as a teen, because I wanted an "oriental" style bedroom. I'm not sure if it's PC of me to use that word anymore, as it's a bit outdated.

Try "platform" :)

The usual next step would be a toddler bed or a single bed with a bed guard. Would that not be easier and cheaper?

Look for ottoman beds. We bought one for my 3 year old and it's the perfect height with the added bonus of storage underneath

Sorry I realised your question also asked where to get them. We got ours from habitat through Argos and it was £200. Our mattress was then separate but we already had a memory foam one from Ikea

My 2 year old is on the ikea floor bed (utaker).

I was hoping to have her share a room with her little sister too, both in floor beds. I’ve decided it’s not safe for now though, as I can’t trust the big one not to ‘help’ the little one or the little one to potentially climb into bed with the big one. Maybe yours are better at staying asleep in their own beds though!
