ive always been a deep sleeper and its only when i was co-sleeping that i slept really light.

now that dd is in her own room ive gone back to how i was before and dont hear dd if she wakes up through the night.

its sort of causing problems with me and dp because hes saying that im just pretending to be asleep when she wakes up.

TIA

You have the opposite problem to me and are the same as my husband. Do you you have a monitor that you can put your side of the bed and turn it up loud. If your husband gets woken up anyway hopefully it shouldn't make much difference to him?

Also DH became alot better at waking up with DS2 when I put in ear plugs (I was waking up at each snuffle and he was sleeping through everything)as he must have subconsciouly thought I wouldn't hear so he had to be alert. Also meant I got a great nights sleep that I hadn't had in weeks.

Same problem as me and DW. DW is completely deaf in one ear. She sleeps on her good one. I get up and do the soothing. THen I go and sleep downstairs and let her do the morning feed!
