Hi
My ten month old DS wakes at 4am every morning wailing in pain, trumping.
It seems he's gassy and its waking him up?
He's on three balanced meals a day with formula.
Unsure what to do. Can anyone relate? Thanks 🙂

I have no experience with this so I may be wrong but I would try cutting out different food groups for a few days to see if it makes any difference .
So no eggs for a few days , no change reintroduce them and cut out wheat etc

My 9 month old is really gassy at night, she can wake multiple times with it. It seems to come in waves tho so was wondering if it's too do with teething?

My first DD was the same. We never really got to the bottom of it, tried infacol, gripe water etc. Site just grew out of it once she was over 1.

Is it a new thing since you started solids or has your baby always been gassy?

He's always been gassy, but slept through the night no issues from 3-6 months, then once starting solids its been every night waking once/twice a night. Nightmare!

Nightmare! My DS is the same, slept ok (not through but only waking once, which I couldn't cope with!) and suddenly changed about 5 months. He was diagnosed with Cows Milk Protein allergy and we have cut out milk completely (he is breastfeed and started solids about three weeks ago) the last two nights have slept through. He is 6 1/2 months old! We also started to use a probiotic since Monday. Maybe cut out some food groups and see if it makes a difference (as suggested up thread!) and use a probiotic?

Cutting out dairy really helped my DD (although she still doesn’t sleep through!), I suspect she has cows milk protein allergy. Unfortunately my GP and HVs were completely useless so I’ve had to do my own research- Allergy uk is a great resource and has lots of information on allergies in infants
