Yes it's totally fine

Just get a mattress that fits properly and check the structure of it regularly just in case.

ChittyBang1987 · 19/01/2022 08:54

Yep I did. Brought the mattress from asda. I had to put one when my lo was under 6 months as she's a tall kid, size 2 to 3 year old vests already as need the length and only 11 months on 1st 🤦

LittleAndMellow · 19/01/2022 08:55

They utterly trash, the mattress is shit, why on earth would you not buy a cheap bed from ikea?

LifeIsBusy · 19/01/2022 10:16

@LittleAndMellow 🤣🤣 I never suggested it was a money issue?

My DS was born with talipes and wears boots with a connected bar overnight. His boots are getting caught between the bars when he moves and he wakes up screaming because he's stuck.

@ChittyBang1987 I feel we have similar sized kids. Currently sporting 18-24 months at 8. I feel for clothing bills 🤣.

We had one, we didn't have space for a full sized cot at that time.

ChittyBang1987 · 19/01/2022 13:46

@LifeIsBusy 😆 oh yes definitely!! I buy new clothes and shoots up in size within 6 weeks 😆
