Wake a sleeping baby?!

Should I wake my 6 week old who has been sleeping the last 3.5 hours?? She's well fed and gaining weight. I just want her to sleep tonight too. Husband thinks I'm crazy for even contemplating it. Thoughts?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I would just because it must be about feeding time again

Undersnatch · 24/05/2021 14:34

I’m of the never wake them camp. At that age they need so much sleep - better than being overtired, rest can breed rest.

AnneLovesGilbert · 24/05/2021 14:35

Nooooo!

At that age DD did 9-9, feed, change, then back to sleep till midday. She was chubbing up before my eyes.

All went to hell at 4 months so I’m not bragging. She just had a funny sleeping pattern for a while. And the rest of the day was loooong.

Ok I will let a sleeping baby lie! She's generally a good night sleeper but she didn't sleep much yesterday during the day so she must be catching up.

Wake a sleeping baby? Not a fucking hope! When she's hungry she'll wake up for a feed!!

LoveYouHoneybear · 24/05/2021 14:44

@AlmostSummer21 LOL that's what my husband said. I'm going to listen to you guys and enjoy a cup of tea.
