does anyone have any suggestions? am quite nervous about making the move. dd hates lying on her back because of the relux (although to be fair i havent tried her like this to sleep in a while...last time was a month ago and she cried herself into hysteria)

am thinking it it maybe time to put her in her own room. and she is starting to look wuite big in her hammock now.

am planning to move the hammock into her room first, but then dont know how to get her to sleep in the cot after that! she seems to need the bouncing motion to sleep now and obviously she wont have that in the cot. when she wakes in the night there will be nothing to sooth her back to sleep again like the bouncing does.

any ideas???? am quite nervous about it

with the reflux i would try to elevate the head of the cot (a telephone directory under each leg makes it the right height)

it may take her a while to settle - you can stay with her to settle her - a hand on her chest is really comforting

TBH, if it really suits her, do you need to move her now?

what about getting her to take a daytime nap in her new cot? see how it goes.

is her reflux over yet? if not i would be reluctant to take her out of the natures nest just yet.

relux does seem to have eased somewhat it seems...
i think that is a good idea will try her in the cot for a daytime snooze see how is goes from there

I recently moved my baby into a cot from an Amby - I bought a lambskin and put it underneath the bed sheets to make it more of a cocoon rather than such a firm surface. Then settling with a hand on the chest worked well for me. Good luck!
