Black out blinds

Hello!!!
I'm sure someone has figured it out already but I just can't get it right.
My baby is 10 month old. Her bedroom is south facing and as lovely it is, nap times are challenging.
I have tried foil, black out blinds and now black out film. I do like film as it fits on to glass directly, but trouble I have with it is that corners keep peeling off. In manual it said to leave few mm gap between film and glass rubber. It doesn't make sense as it's not black out if I leave gap everywhere.
Our windows are six part bay windows so we need something that fits as close to glass as possible not to get in the way of fitted blinds (not blackout Sad ).
Has anyone have ideas or suggestions?
Thank you very much!!!Grin

Blackout blinds plus blackout curtains.

Hang the curtains outside of the window recess, making them at least 30cm higher and wider than the window, if possible. This stops bleeding through the edges of the blind.

Try a magnetic blackout fabric op, I've used this one and it makes such a difference

Fixes on the edges of the frame with magnets so there is no gap of light left. Then curtains or blinds or whatever you like go on top

I bought some Velcro blackout shades recently and have worked wonders.

DS has to have the room pitch black. So annnoying!

We have the sticky growblind on his window, then a roller blind which is supposed to be blackout, then curtains over the top! Works brilliantly but is quite hilarious! Grin

HEY!!! My DD is 15 month she was breast fed till 11 month. She took to bottle with no problem. She didn't like milk much tho and I was worried she is not having enough...now she loves milk and cant get enough. Now im worried she is having too much milk Confused :). Anyway I'm worried she drinks too much milk and doesn't eat enough.
I have no health worries, she is happy and lively kid.
I have limited her milk to around 500 ml a day.
She does big poops at least twice a day.
Shall I give her more milk?
Thank you!

BlocBlinds. Utterly miraculous. I literally cannot see my hand in front of my face in DD1’s room. Can’t wait until DD2 moves in there too.

You need to create a completely new thread OP, maybe in the Chat section, otherwise you’re going to get lots of posters advising you about blackout blinds.

You can buy press on blinds from IKEA. They're £5.50 each and are totally blackout.
