Tips for settling at 5am

My almost 5 Month old seems to have just come through the 4 month sleep regression thank god as he was getting up every 45 mins some nights and his naps went to shit, now he's back to sleeping a good stretch with longer naps.
He's going to bed at 7/7.30 then wakes at 4 or 5am for a feed which is obviously a great stretch. If it's 4am it's fine and he falls asleep on the breast and I stick him back in his crib. If it's 5am I think he thinks it's morning, this morning he took almost an hour until he went back to sleep then we were up for the day at 7am with my bigger boy.
Any tips or do I just need to ride it out til he drops that night feed?
Ds1 at this age I used to give a dream feed at 10pm and he'd last til 6/7am when we just got up for the day but that doesn't seem to work with ds2.
Should add, I don't want to co-sleep.

It is tricky when they are st that stage where they can go 8/9 hours without a feed. The pressure to sleep is lowest in the early morning, so it's much harder to get back to sleep then.

The trick really is to avoid a wake up at all in the 4am-6am area, otherwise it will likely mean being up for the day.

So how about a wake up and feed when you go to bed, say 11pm. The idea is to fully wake baby up. Change nappy when you wake him, so that you won't have a full nappy waking him early morning. This also helps to wake him properly in order to assist getting a big feed into him. It acts a bit like a "reset" on the night, restarting that 8-9h stretch and hopefully meaning he won't wake at all in the early hours.

I've tried that a couple of times Sad it used to work a treat with ds1 but it seems to disturb ds2 so that he's up more. I haven't tried it in several weeks though so maybe it's worth trying again now his sleep has matured more.

He woke up when I went to bed so I changed and fed him. Will see if he manages to sleep through til 7 now.

Nope, got up at 4.30 for a feed then was hard to settle.
