Hi there,
My 2 months old goes to sleep at 7 and she has a good 150ml feed. She wakes up at 1-2 everyday and we feed her. She seems to then have a pattern for waking up every 2 hours for 60ml. I have tried giving her dream feed around 10 which she takes (120ml) but still ends up waking the same time . I am more wondering about why she wakes up every 2 hours at the same time everyday.

I believe she can sleep longer but then I am wondering is she really hungry or could this be a habit? This has been going on for 2 weeks

Because she’s two months old! That’s what they do, she has a teeny tiny stomach and needs feeding little and often.

Totally normal for 2 months. Don’t try and push her to have more than she wants. If you’re offering more but she’s only taking 60ml then that’s what she wants and needs, her tummy is still only very little.

2 month olds are also practically incapable of having habits, it’s far too early, she will be waking because she’s hungry.

Also it is perfectly normal for babies, young children and even adults to have their longest and most settled stretch of sleep in the first part of the night. 7-1 is amazing for 2 months! I didn’t get that kind of sleep for ages. So if she then wakes every 2 hours after that it’s completely normal.
