How to stop a 2 year old (3 next week) still needing bottles throughout the night! I'm exhausted last night I had to refill the bottle 4 times. They don't have a dummy anymore so this is the last comforter left I have tried not to give it but then she will just cry and wake up the other children. Any suggestions welcome please Confused

Are they having milk or water?
If it's milk start gradually watering it down - they'll likely lose interest as it gets less milky. This is what we did with DD though she was a bit younger.

I would just stop, it might be hard for a few nights but at that age it isn’t needed it is just a habit. Tell her that the bottles are going to a baby who needs them and that if she needs a drink she can have a little bit of water(small cup next to her bed).

Ive been in your boat too. I stopped the bottles altogether day and night a few nights ago as I was fed up of getting up 5 times every night to give milk, plus my daughter also wanted water so watering the milk down wasn't an option. She too doesn't have a dummy anymore. Yes it's been really tough at night, theres been alot of shouting from her, buts it's gradually getting better. Every couples I'm having to get up one time less than before. I only have one child at present so I do feel sorry for you that your other children are getting woken up too. But once your nearly 3 yo is off the bottles completely he or she will sleep better and everybody else.

Gonna get worse before it gets better. I think you'll have a few nights of hell and then it'll improve.
