i haven't been, with ds2 (12 weeks old) but he's a real catnapper - nevr for longer than 30 mins unless he's int h car/pram

Hi

DD2 is the same, a cat napper unless in the car. Have tried swaddling in the day and the most we get is an hour, we had 2 hrs once but it was a one off. She is always struggling to get out of it and seems to have more energy to do so in the day.

we swaddled for all sleeps. we found that he slept better when swaddled - so instead of a 30 min catnap, he could go for over an hour.

We swaddle for all naps unless we only want DS to have a catnap late afternoon. We can get 2 hour naps that way. However he often wiggles his hands out so we may stop soon (he's 16.3 weeks!)

We swaddled for naps. However if memory serves at 12 weeks it helped him drop off in the first place but didn't make naps any longer until closer to 16 weeks. Once he was napping longer whilst swaddled, if we didn't swaddle then naps were significantly shorter.
