Bit confused as if DS has a big feed at 10.30 then he wakes much earlier. if he has a smaller feed he sleeps about 2 hours longer - i thought it should be the other way round?

I ended up dropping the 10,30 feed really early (can't remember when but was about 8-9 weeks) as it just woke my DS up earlier too. I just let him sleep through. If you have to wake yours, you could try leaving him and seeing what happens. Trial and error with babies isn't it?

I do have to wake him, he's in a deep sleep when i get him up at 10.30 and often doesn't really open his little eyes for the first 5 mins or so of the feed - maybe I will try dropping it and see what happens.

I've got the same problem. DS2 wakes much earlier if he he has a big 10.30 feed. Couple of time we have missed it out and he has gone through to 6.30. it seems the more he has at 10.30 the worse he sleeps and wakes at 4.30 with wind. he is 14 weeks. Am going to try dropping that feed as of tonight. Good luck !

OMG - if the baby is sleeping do not wake - enjoy your sleep as once they hit 6 months and can see so much better they're awake all the time. Sleep sleep sleep (from a mum whose not had more than 2 hours unbroken in 9 months!!!)
