Wondering if anyone can share any tips to help me.
My LO is nearly 4 weeks old and so far has only slept in her cot once.
I have no problem getting her to sleep - in fact, she breastfeeds and sleeps really well when held by myself (I know this is normal because she finds it comforting etc). As soon as I put her into her Snuzpod however, her eyes open straight away and she fidgets, fussed and cry's until I pick her up.
I've tried swaddling, putting a hot water bottle in her bed before she goes so it's not cold and I've even tried a white noise machine.
My LO also doesn't seem to enjoy her Dads company or efforts to sooth her when she's crying so it's been quite hard doing everything, from bathing her to feeding on demand (breastfeeding). This is mainly caused by her Dad not being able to see her for four days after she was born due to the virus and my hospitals visitor policies. He wasn't able to have a chance to do skin to skin when she was born. All this on top of moving house and sorting storage and tenancy contracts is really starting to take its toll mainly as I'm not getting a chance to sleep or rest with her needing to be with me all the time. My partner works evenings/nights.
Has anyone got any tips on how to keep her asleep in her cot?
I could really really do with some sleep - thanks in advance! 💓
